Review Summary
Prof. Deemer is trying to creating a nutrient formula to solve world hunger, but only succeeds in makinh his lab animals bigger and causing a deforming disease in humans. A spider from the lab escapes and begins to grow and kill man and animal. Dr. Hastings and the sherriff investigate the deaths while 'Steve' Stephanie, Deemers new assistant, grows concerned with Deemer's condition. Dr. Hasting soon realizes a giant spider is on the loose and rallies the town to try and blow it up, but they're not sure it will work.
