Review Summaries
"David Decker is a regular college student who, along with his friend Todd, rescue a bird-like alien named Panagyra. Panagyra, or Gyra for short, has crash-landed on Earth, which he calls Trenara. The guys take Gyra in, but have trouble hiding him. The government knows that the alien has landed, and wants him because they were told by another alien that he is evil. Eventually, after rescuing someone from an abusive boyfriend, and saving another 's baby, David and Todd go on the run from the police. They hide in UFO conventions, small-town motels, and a marine park, while trying to find materials to repair Gyra's spaceship. Finally, Gyra saves David from the government, while getting hurt, and they escape in his spaceship. Gyra is unconscious when the spaceship lands on his home planet, Arana. David is taken care of by the resident phantera (the bird-like aliens), and is taught the alien language, Ramatera. Eventually, after taking a long journey through the desert, running from sandstorms, battling large arachnids, and flying on huge birds, he must appear at a trial to determine whether he was the one who hurt Gyra or not."
