| Review Summary |
A scientific experiment involving a laser goes completely wrong, and it starts pulling lifeforms from other planets to earth.
The first of the life forms brought to earth is Howard, a 3-foot duck who comes from a planet of ducks that have the same mental capacities and speaking skills as humans.
Confused in a new world, Howard stumbles across, Beverly Switzler (Thompson), a member of a band called the Cherry Bombs who is manipulated by her manager.
Howard and Beverly become instant friends, and she lets him hide out at her house from scientists who want to tests on him. To pay her back, Howard roughs up her band manager and becomes their new leader.
A strange set of events occur and it is discovered the laser beam pulled a new creature to the planet, only this one isn't as furry as Howard.
A destructive space alien has taken one of the scientist's bodies and threatens to destroy the earth.
