Review Summaries
" Marion Pallor is an assistant history professor at a small college in Kentucky. His only dream is to marry his fiance, Angela Fenton. Angela is an anthropologist with an interest in cultures who rely on magic and has to leave the country for her dissertation research. Marion is devastated when she doesn't return and is presumed dead. The mourning, however, is cut short when he starts detonationg in and out of time dimensions around the world. The detonations are very painful, scattering him to the molecular level and then reassembling him back into his human form when the location has been reached. Even more intriguing is the fact that all of the detonations are controlled by the mind of a link. A link is a person who has been given a connection to the detonator by a scientist named Steven Talbot. Talbot's organization not only thrives on the power surges created by the interruption in the natural order of things when the detonations occur, but they are also responsible for assassinations and other attempted sabotages of events in time. As the story progresses, Pallor learns how to deal with his new position in life with the help of an opposing group led by scientist Lawrence Withow; a position that requires him to fight assassins."
