Review Summaries
"THE LANGOLIERS is a movie based on a novel by Stephen King. It tells a mysterious story about a flight to another time dimension. A blind girl (main character with special abilities), a teacher, a machine worker, a musician, a stoner, a mystery writer, a businessman, a mysterious Englishman, and a raving psychopath are on a plane to Boston when they find themselves waking up (from sleep) on an empty airplane. All of the passengers and crew vanished. They were all that were left. After a slight panicking, one of them landed the plane at Bangor, Maine, as he was an ex-pilot himself. At the airport, they soon discovered that they were the only ones left and the whole airport and possibly the whole town was empty. Everyone had vanished. They tried everything they could to survive and during their stay, they found out that they were stuck in the past. This alternate past was empty and is already dead. The blind girl had special abilities that allowed her to know what was happening to them. At the airport, they faced challenges not only from this mysterious happening but also from one of them who was a raving psychopath, trying to murder them one by one. They tried to figure out a way to get out of the place and soon they realised that they had to fly the plane in order to cross back to the future as the past will soon be destroyed by magical creatures called the Langoliers.
