| Review Summary |
There is a legend in Arkansas of a Bigfoot-like beast called the Boogy Creek Creature. Professor Lockart and three of his students set off into the swamps to search for the beast, which has recently been sighted.
Lockart regales the students with stories of previous sightings, and soon after they set up camp, the group has a sighting of its own. They track the creature, but without success, and interview others who have seen it. This eventually leads them to the loner Crenshaw, who may hold the secret of the creature's whereabouts.
