Review Summaries
"The Hidden is about parasitic alien life forms that are able to take over humans allowing the body to survive incredible punishment before fleeing its host in search of another body to inhabit. First a criminal with a shotgun shoots his way through a bank hold up stealing bags of loot and killing a policeman. He is chased at high speeds by police cruisers and mortally wounded. At the hospital, as the criminal expires the alien crawls out of his mouth and into that of a dead man next to him. LA police detective Tom Beck (Nouri) and FBI agent Lloyd Gallagher (MacLachlan) are on the trail of the homicidal killer with a penchant for driving very fast, listening to loud rock music, and eating fast food. As the man's body fails from gunshot wounds, car crash trauma, too much greasy food, etc., the creature takes to the next closest human it can infest; a stripper! (Editorial note: this film features a scene with Claudia Christian walking around showing her naked ass) During the film Agent Gallagher acts peculiar but seems like a decent guy. The process of the dying alien host body replaced by a new human host repeats itself until Gallagher finally kills the black, giant slug-like creature. "
