| Review Summary |
This movie is a Mel Brooks movie, so you know it has to be funny. It is a parody of sci-fi movies. Its main story line is a parody of the first Star Wars movie released, though it has elements of others in it. Bill Pullman plays Lone Star, who has to rescue Princess Vespa. She is about to be married to Prince Valium, but she runs off to escape the marriage. Her father hires Lone Star to bring him back. It is easier than it seems. He crosses swords with the evil Dark Helmut, played by Rick Moranis, and runs into the awful Pizza the Hut. He flies around in his magical Winnebago, using the power of "the Schwartz" taught to him by the mysterical figure, Yogurt. And eventually he gets the girl.
