Review Summaries
"DARK WATER (Honogurai mizu no soko kara) is a film directed by Hideo Nakata (Ring & Ring 2) in 2001. Yoshimi is trying to keep the custody of Ikuko, her six years old child. She moves with her into an old building. Soon water starts to drip from the ceiling into the sleeping room. As nobody seems to live in the flat above, Yoshimi begins to lose her nerves. A few days later, Yoshimi will learn that, two years before, a child leaving in the above apartment disappeared. She then starts to suffer from hallucinations involving the missing child. While a sympathetic lawyer accepts to help her with divorce procedures, Yoshimi remarks that her daughter seems to play with an invisible child. "
