Review Summary
THE ANGRY RED PLANET is a movie co-written and directed by Danish born director Ib Melchior in 1960.

The MR 1 expedition is the first rocketship sent to Mars by humans. It returns home after 150 days without any radio contact with Earth. Only two out of four members of the crew are on board: the pilot and the scientist Iris Ryan. Suffering from amnesia, she will nonetheless explain piecemeal what has happened on planet Mars. They had to fight against carnivorous plants, a giant spiderbat and a huge amoeba that tried to swallow up the rocket.
