Review Summary
20 MILLION MILES TO EARTH is a film directed by Nathan Juran in 1957. Special effects by Ray Harryhausen.

Colonel Calder's spaceship crashes in the Mediterranean sea near a little Sicilian port. Calder is the sole survivor of this expedition returning from the planet Venus. They had brought with them the embryo of a Venusian species in order to study it on Earth but, unfortunately, the creature manages to escape. While the police forces are trying to locate it, the strange creature is becoming larger and larger. It is at last caught and brought into the zoo of Rome. But the creature escapes once more and heads to the Coliseum with the army right behind.
