Review Summaries
"THE MIND MACHINE: by Michael Mathiesen. One day, an large egg-shaped spaceship descends onto the hero's backyard. It sits there silently. Out of curiosity, he decides to enter the ship. There is no one inside. The interior radiates halls off to all four points of the compass into infinity. There is a circular staircase in the center. He ascends it to find the control room. In the control room, a robotic female voice fills his mind and instructs him that the universe will fold in on itself and Earth will be gone in less than a year. There is only one way out and that is through the ship's portal to another dimension. The ship's size will allow it to rescue millions of Earth's people from the coming total end of everything. The hero is charged with rounding up the millions of people who can be saved. "
