Review Summaries
"WHITE ZOMBIE is a movie directed by Victor Halperin in 1932. Charles Beaumont invited Madeleine and Neil to celebrate their marriage in his mansion in Haiti. He's madly in love with Madeleine and has asked Legendre to help him seduce the young girl. Legendre has learned from a local sorcerer how to turn people into mind controlled zombies and is running a sugar cane factory that employs only the living dead. Madeleine is turned into a zombie but Beaumont is still not satisfied. Meanwhile, Legendre has decided to keep Madeleine for himself and gets rid of Beaumont. Neil, in the company of the missionary Dr. Bruner, finds the den of Legendre and tries to free Madeleine."
