Review Summaries
"RING 2 (Ringu 2) is a movie cowritten and directed by Hideo Nakata in 1999. The main themes of this sequel, as scary as the first film of the saga, are drawn from the ghost stories of the Japanese and Chinese foklore. The picture begins at the moment the first RINGU finished. Mai Takano, the young assistant of the last victim of the killer videotape, takes in the young Yoichi. In the company of a journalist and a psychiatrist, she will also try to understand why the ghost of Sadako wants so badly to take revenge on those who watch the fatal videotape. "
