Review Summaries
"After his father's death, a man returns to his home town after many years. He intends to keep his father's gold mine from being shut down. Meanwhile, a local man who collects spiders is attacked by some of them and in his flailing he knocks over dozens of cages and frees hundreds of spiders. The spiders get into some toxic waste and grow into gigantic, man-eating spiders. They overrun the town, killing everything in their path. The townspeople gather in the mall. When the spiders get into the mall, the young man leads the people into the mine through a tunnel in the mall's store room. The spiders follow the people into the mine. Knowing the mine is full of methane gas, the young man gets everyone out of the mine and sets up a makeshift bomb. He busts a lightbulb and sticks a book of matches in the socket. A deputy, once out of the mine, fires up a generator and turns on the lights. When the electricity reaches the broken light a spark lights the matches which ignites the gas. The young man gets out of the mine just ahead of the explosion that kills all of the spiders and saves the town."

"A bunch of spiders get fed chemical waste and grow. Then they invaded a small Arizona town. A mall owner, the sheriff, her kids, and the town have to fight the spiders off to survive another day."
