"Merry Gentry is a private detective and faery priness living with her chosen 'harem' of men/bodyguards, one of whom must sire her child by order of her aunt the Queen of the Unseelie Court. The incentive is the throne, but Merry's cousin Cel is also in line and will do anything to be the first to have a child.
Unknown assasins now target Merry, and as her powers (and those of the others) around her grow and spiral out of control a new killer emerges. for three years she has been enjoying the life of a magical detective and now it is up to her to find the killers and stop them."

"This is the third Meredith Gentry book. Her aunt, the Unseelie Court Queen, has made it a contest between Meredith and Cel (Meredith's aunt's son) to gain the throne: whoever has a child first becomes the next King or Queen. Because her life depends on gaining that title, Meredith is still trying to get pregnant, with the help of her five guards. However, she still has to deal with the press, attempted assassination, and keeping the few allies she has. Also, she has begun to gain more power, power she cannot control, and power that is awakening abilities in other Sidhe that they all thought they had lost, as well as some abilities that they had never had in the first place. Be forewarned, this book has some very graphic sex and violence. Also, reading the first two books would probably be a good idea, although many of the events that took place in those books are summed up in this one."

"This is the third installment of the Meredith NicEssus series. Merry is preparing to visit her overbearing uncle, the King of the Seelie Court. In the midst of this, Merry stumbles across some strange new powers--she can restore many of the powers the sidhe gave up as part of a treaty they signed when moving to the United States--and even dole out some they never had. She continues working on improving her alliance with the goblins, using her ability to change goblins into sidhe as a bargaining tool. Though Merry is nervous about visiting the Seelie Court, she does not expect the attack on her way to the Unseelie Court. The attack extends to her Aunt Andais, the Queen of Air and Darkness, who almost kills both her bodyguards and Meredith's. Meredith is forced into a duel, and surprises the court when she wins. In the meanwhile, the traitor is revealed, and Meredith must fight her as well."

When President Jefferson invited the fae to make their home in America on the condition they would not set themselves up as destroyers, they had no choice but to accept. No other country wanted them and to keep their cultural identity they gave up much of their powers. Now the courts of the Sealie and Unsealie are dying, with very few children born to carry on the line.
Queen Andais of the Unsealie court has made her son and her niece compete for the throne with the first one to get pregnant or to get someone with child named the heir. Princess Merry is worried that even with her own harem she remains barren but also worries that her magic is growing in her and she doesn't know how to control it, a dangerous position to be in when many Sidhe want her dead.
Many people think it's a dream come true to have a harem but the princess knows that some of the shallower men only want her to take the throne so they can share in her power. SEDUCED BY MOONLIGHT is a magical romantic fantasy that will charm anyone who reads it. There are many surprises concerning the heroine and the author brilliantly sets the stage for the storyline of the next book in the series.
