Review Summary
When prison guard Conyr first sees Dru, the young man
is about to be beaten to death for some unknown crime,
but imprisoned councilman Gilas has other plans, and
calls in a favour. In no time at all, Conyr finds his
dwelling overrun by an invalid, the daughter of the
woman he adores, and a very strange dog called Echo.
As Dru returns to health, it soon becomes clear that
there is more afoot, and that the fate of a city may
well rest upon his shoulders. The answers seem to lie
in the mysterious Necropolis, a city of the dead that
lies somewhere beneath the city of the living.

Bryn Colvin, Resident Scholar

There have long been tensions between the city states of Cyra and Eretria, but when a hostage goes missing, the tension builds. Who is Dru, the mysterious young man that soldier Conyr has been asked to rescue from prison? What does sinister politician Gilas really want? Who are the Old Ones, and what really waits for the characters when they finally venture into the necropolis beneath the city? "Necropolis" is a good story, full of surprises, well developed characters and plenty of strange magic.
Bryn Pearson, Resident Scholar

In an ancient desert city where the spirits of long dead
rulers rustle through the winding streets, a prison guard is forced to save the life of a young priest whose lost memory holds the key to the fate of two cities. Become entangled in the web of political rivalries,
sorcerous intrigues, headlong adventure and deep emotion that is . . . . Necropolis!

Xina Marie Uhl, Resident Scholar
