"Cliff and his friend Peevey discover a jet backpack. Cliff and Peevey search for the origin and use of the device, jeopardizing Cliff's relationship with his girlfriend Jenny. As Cliff searches for the truth, a spy tries to woo Jenny to gain leverage and regain the prototype backpack, so that it can be copied and used by an invasion force. As he discovers and tries to stop the plot, Cliff begins to use the jet pack to his advantage, becoming an unknown hero the media names "The Rocketeer". "
