"Adopted by the Lamarian royal family, Christopher is loved by an older brother, a father and a mother. The older he grows, though, the stronger an inner desire to find his own kind grows. He does not understand why this is happening to him, but it leads him and his older brother, Eric, on a journey across the sea. Christopher grows up, as they finally find a land that seems familiar to him. Christopher finds his bond mate, a girl of his own kind, and he falls in love. He also struggles with where he belongs between his people's world or the world of his adoptive family. They explore the new land only to discover Hunters. Christopher and his new found love are captured by the Hunters and imprisoned. Eric and his friends try to rescue them, but they find that Christopher has the strength to rescue himself now. During the escape, Christopher and Eric are seperated from each other. Eric's little group escapes the prison only to become the victims of a Horse Rider's pillage. Then, they become involved in the very center of a Horse Rider inner war."
