Review Summaries
"Tromaville is the toxic waste capitol of the world. Young Melvin is a janitor at a gym. When four mean and violent teens decide to pull a prank on Melvin it turns to the worst when Melvin falls head first through a second story window into a vat of toxic waste. The Toxic Avenger is born. The once week Melvin turns into a mutated vigilante who kills drug dealers, rapists, cop killers and of course the punks who pranked him. "
Trevor Schmitt, Resident Scholar

"This is an absurd and silly little farce about a 90 pound weakling named Melvin who is the janitor at the Tromaville Health Club, where the local bullies make his life miserable. One day, he is chased out of the club and falls into some conveniently placed toxic waste that transforms him into...THE TOXIC AVENGER! Geek no more, he lives in the junkyard and prepares to take revenge on his former tormentors and right the wrongs in Tromaville, falling in love along the way with a blind girl who can't see how hideous he is. "
Rob, Resident Scholar
