Review Summaries
"A rogueish warrior mercenary seeking adventure stumbles upon a beautiful princess-type and rescues her from barbaric thugs. This gets him involved in a conflict between two sisters who are daughters of the late king, each holders of a sword with a magic jewel, trying to gain the other's sword, re-uniting the jewels, which will give the holder supreme power. One of these sisters lives in the royal palace, and sacrifices her kinky daughter to cast a spell that turns her head soldier into a mindless, helmeted, unstoppable killer. The other sister lives in the forest and raises a rebel army, but she is also using her daughter (the princess-type) in a machiavellian plot. The princess-type and the mercenary fall in love, the two sisters have a duel and destroy each other, and the two lovers become the new King and Queen, with the two jewled sword, the "Eyes of the Serpent," being their source of power. There are also various supporting and cameo characters of thieves, gamblers, fortune-tellers, and a guy with two heads. This is all handled in an attempt at being tounge-in-cheek, but the acting and writing is pretty dreadful, so it's hard to tell if it reallly is a parody, or if it's just bad. The fights are pretty stagey, but at least the leads are good looking."
