Review Summaries
"When William Blackhorse Singer is called on by the government to protect a alien diplomat from a member of his species, he goes to release a shapeshifter known as Cat, whom he captured years before and put in a zoo, to help. The creature agrees to kill the alien threatening the diplomat, however in return he wants to kill Singer, who put him in the zoo years before. Singer agrees because he doesn't really want to live. Cat, sensing his resolution, gives him a chance to run with the agreement that if Singer lives for a week, he's free."
