Review Summaries "Taking place in three seperate time periods spanning several centuries, Icehenge is a story about history written by the victors, and an archaeological mystery stretching from the dust covered ruins of a domed Martian city to an impossible artifact on the polar plain of Pluto. Emma Weil is a bystander on a mutinous freighter hijacked during the failed Martian revolution. Her journal, discovered amidst ruins three hundred years later, becomes the obsession of Dr. Hjalmar Nederland, a Martian archaeologist. Nederland believes that Emma's account challenges the official history of the revolt. When a gigantic and very old ice structure is discovered on the first human expedition to Pluto, more questions are raised regarding what really happened all those years ago.
