Review Summaries
"A deadly bacteria is brought to Earth via a crashed sattelite. Everybody dies in the desert town where it fell, except for a screaming baby and an old drunk. It is up to a team of scientist to find out why, before the bacteria wipes out all human life on Earth. The film is brilliantly designed, well acted and well plotted (as a mystery). The novel it was based on is an early example of Crichton's distrust of Science, the film was directed by Robert Wise. With Arthur Hill, James Olson, Kate Reid, David Wayne. 1971."
