"Tunnel workers in London unearth dragons.
Over the next 2 decades the dragons spread all over the world and wipe out the majority of earth's population.
Otside of London a man, Quinn, whose mother, years earlier was one of the tunnel workers, lead a small community of survivors that lived in a castle.
One day, a small group of American soldiers shows up at the castle looking for short refuge.
When a dragon attacks, the soldiers are able to kill it, but they lose three men.
The soldiers have deduced that there are hundreds of female dragons and only one male. Therefore, if they can kill the male the dragons can't breed and can be wiped out.
Against Quinn's wishes, the soldiers recruit some of the community members to go to London, the male dragon's home, and kill him.
On the way to London, the dragon attacks the soldiers and kills all but two of them. The dragon then attacks the castle and kills the majority of the remaining community.
The two remaining soldiers, along with Quinn, go to London to kill the dragon. They split up to confuse the dragon.
The dragon is able to kill one of the soldiers before Quinn, using a crossbow, shoots an explosive arrow into it's mouth and finally kills it."

Van Zan, an American soldier, will try to convince him that they stand a chance if they manage to kill the only one male dragon, and so, eliminate their dynasty. Through a series of amazing effects – the scene with the dragons fly all over a destroyed London is superb – and emotionally tense moments, this movie is the revival of the fantasy cinema. You will enjoy mostly the final battle."

"All dragon enthusiasts need to see this movie, and the dragons are well done. There is a twist in the usual themes in that the dragons spout fire to burn all the vegetation in their domain, as they eat the fresh ash for food. Clearly the dragons (who have been hibernating under London since the Jurassic Age and trash the City first, this may be a comment on the state of British society...) are not going to be wanting to live in democratic, tolerant, multi-species Britain. To be fair, it must be admitted that the plot, dialogue, and characterisation are not up to the standard one might hope for, but the dragons are good."

The fight for survival between men and dragons. "Reign of Fire" is a movie I liked as an adult and would've gone to see as a kid. Good fun!! Great dragon fighting sequences."
