Review Summaries
" This movie is about the perfect all-American couple: a brave, honored NASA astronaut and his beautiful wife, school-teacher. Both husband and wife were passionately in love with each other that they could sense each other even when he was floating in space and she was two hundred thousand miles away from him on earth. And in two minutes it all turned to mysterious horror as astronaut Spencer Armacost loses total consciousness, while he was on a routine space shuttle mission, returning home just barely alive and a bewildered hero.
Spencer became an alien during his mission in outer space. The President along with the whole nation and his friends celebrate his safe return to earth, but to his wife Jillian something seems weirdly wrong from the moment he returns to Earth.
Spencer immediately retires after a mysterious mission into space leaves him changed, and these events send his wife Jillian into chain of chilling events, as she's ready to give birth to her loving husband's twin babies. "

"THE ASTRONAUT'S WIFE is a movie written and directed by Rand Ravich in 1999.
During a space shuttle mission, two astronauts, Johnny Depp and Nick Cassavetes, lose contact for a short moment with the NASA after the explosion of a satellite. While Cassavetes dies a few days later on earth, Johnny Depp recovers and accepts a job as an executive in NYC. Soon his wife Charlize Theron gets pregnant expecting twins. But Joe Morton contacts Charlize and explains to her that her husband may have had a close encounter of the third kind during the two minutes he was out of sight during the accident. Didn't she notice anything different in Depp's behaviour recently ?
