Review Summary
Rick Maxim, a pianoman, is periodically overwhelmed by an electrical aura that protects him in moments of danger. He has no idea what it is or where it comes from. After his last event, when two thugs are killed by the phenomenon, he hides out at a restaurant/art gallery complex in Annapolis, Maryland, where he meets a group of people who are at least as strange as he is. With their help, he learns about his destiny, and the destiny of the Earth he thought he belonged to.
Kathleen Allen, Resident Scholar
