Review Summaries
"Voyager comes across a subspace disturbance indicating a wormhole that could lead them home. However the wormhole is inside a black hole and so they wouldn't be able to survive the journey. On further investigation the crew come across a nearby grave-yard of ships, with the source of destruction coming from the black hole/wormhole. Voyager receives a threat from a buoy telling them not to enter Akerian space. However these hostile aliens stand in the way of Janeway and a possible trip home. She ignores the threats and goes in closer to the wormhole, only to find it feeding off of a nearby Sun. The Sun's planets are in danger at the rate it is dying, and so is the civilisation on one of them. When the alien people of Veruna Four contact Voyager Janeway must decide the fate of 2 billion lives or disobeying the Prime directive. Her decision is soon made when it is found that the events happening are not natural. The 'Sun-eater' didn't start to feed off the sun until the Akerians arrived out of it. Then every so often they would emerge and kidnap Verunans and use them as slaves and kill their offspring while at the planet. Janeway agrees to help them in their war to protect innocent lives. Janeway and the crew have to discover a way to follow the enemy inside the black hole/wormhole to rescue the slaves and stop whatever is feeding off the Sun. What will they find inside? Will they be able to save the Verunans and find a way home? Or will they be forced to let them die? Read it to find out as Janeway uncovers the mysteries of the murdered Sun. An exciting read that captures the essence of Star Trek Voyager, and brings it to life. "
