Set 5000 years in the future, Hiero is a martial priest sent on a journey through North America radically altered after a nuclear war 5000 years before. He has to recover the secrets of long lost computers to help his fledgling society overcome the hidden and actual threat from the "Unclean" who are a secret society pledged to bring back the world of "The Death".
