1. Favorite book and why?
I find it hard to narrow down my preference for a favorite Timothy Zahn book, so I shall have to say that even my least favorite is amoung my favorites. I enjoy Mr. Zahn's ability to weave common themes into well-crafted stories, with stong character development, polical and social intrigues and back them with scientific principles.

2. Least favorite book and why?
Deadmans Switch, because of the zombie pilots.(yuk)Even so,I have to say that I still like this book.

3. Favorite scene in favorite book and why?
Since I am currently re-reading Cobra/Cobra Strike, I like the scene when Kennet Mcdonald's body rises from his funeral repose and blasts Challinor and his rebel cobras.

5. Which character do you identify most with and why?
There is no one character that I identify with more than another. There are aspects of each main character in every story that Mr. Zahn has written that I can relate to.(One of the reasons that I like his writing so much!)

6. If you could see a sequel to one of the author's books, which would it be and what would it be about?
I would like to see both a prequel and a sequel to the Conqueror series books. In the former I would like to know more about Lord Stewart Cavanah, before and after he enters politics. With the latter, I would like to see what happens to Gilag and the Cavanah clan.

7. What do you like about author's writing style?
Besides what I already have mentioned, I also like his limited use of profanity and gratuitous sexual situations.

8. What are your favorite themes of this author?
Mr. Zahn uses a variety of themes throughout the bulk of his books that relate to the everday lives of indivuals and society as a whole. In the Conqueror series, the treatment of senior citizens (a.k.a. Elders) was the most thought- provoking aspect as well as suicide/euthenasia. In "A Coming of Age", education, cults and gangs and societies responses to these problems were themes that I found myself sympathizing with; the point being that Mr. Zahn writes using themes that makes a person think beyond the basic plot of his stories.

9. What could be most improved about this authors books?
The frequency with which they are written.
