Esteemed Scholar: Shawn Parikh Total Posts in Six Million Dollar Man & Bionic Woman 101 1. What do you like about this show? The bionic stunts, the fights, the action, the different assortment of stories, and Lee Majors. 2. Favorite character and why? Steve Austin; when I was a kid he was my hero. A clean cut, clear, well-defined character that all boys could look up to, plus he had a cool action figure(doll.) 3. Least favorite character and why? Chris Williams of the Bionic Woman; come on after her being with Steve he was a poor imitation. 4. Favorite episode and why? Secret of Bigfoot- This episode had it all; action, stunts, and the acting debut of Andre the Giant. 5. Least favorite episode and why? Ultimate Imposter- This obvious pilot for Stephen Macht's character was 60min; give or take a few minutes, for the loyal and avid Six Million Dollar Man fan to endure. 6. Which character do you identify with the most and why? Steve Austin. He overcame adversity and a big shakeup to his everyday life and managed to eventually come to terms with the cards that he had been dealt. 7. What was so special about this show? This series had everything a kid and adult could want in it. With Steve being a pilot and astronaut story lines could venture in the air and into outer space, plus his military affiliation allowed for military related plots. And the series wasn't afraid to venture into the scifi realm. Unlike Bionic Woman in my opinion Six Million Dollar Man retained interesting and exciting plots all the way to the end; Dead Ringer and Just a Matter of Time come to mind. 8. What one change would you have made to improve this show? Given Steve more team ups with Jaime. Added more bionic stunts. 9. What's one kind of episode they didn't do but should have? An episode where Steve must protect the President of the United States from some foreign or domestic enemy. Seeing Steve bionically performing in the White House would have been interesting.
