Empire- best screenplay- darker more unconventionial outlook, and the best setpieces ever: (Bespin)As sequels go, it lived up to the original and more, revered as one of the best sequels alongside Godfather, Raiders, and Kevin smith flicks 2. Which Star Wars character did you like the most and why? Chewie- great design escaping Ralph Mcquarries original vision provides comic relief, emotion and action, whilst still managing to sound like a constipated bovine. 3. Which Star Wars character did you like the least and why? Porkins- fat ass loser doesn't listen to anyone: ("jekk pull up!" "No, I'm alrigh....(KAPOW!) 4. Which was your least Star Wars movie and why? I'll escape damning myself with my fanatical love of the holy trilogy (even pahntom Menace) and say the Ewok movie spinoff Caravan of courage- Battle for endor was not as bad, as it involved more familiar elements of the Star Wars Galaxy, but Caravan was to gimmicky and aimed at soft toy merchandising. 5. What did you think of Jar-Jar and/or the Ewoks? Jar Jar, although somewhat unsuccessful in the comic relief area, was not that bad! His Gungan race showed depth of social analysis in their reflection of early Black slave perceptions, and their relationship with the Naboo also relects racial conflict in our world.... Ewoks are cool, only in Jedi and Battle for Endor- How come Wicket can suddenly speak english in the Spin Offs! 6. What did you like most about Star Wars technology? In the Trilogy- they are advanced and futuristic, whilst relecting the Imperial, Industrialised nature of tech in the Industrial revoloution- and hitting the Falcon can get her to spark up- how cool is that? 7. What about Star Wars moved you the most? The ultimate fulfilling to the prophecy of Anakin bringing balance to the force, by his offspring redeeming him. (Vader destroys Palpatine and the Sith, leaving only Luke and the jedi, bringing balance) Their relationships are touching as they reconcile their roles in the family. 8. What would you like to see in the next movie? Padme's strong and tragic struggle for her children, protecting them from the Empire and Anakin/ The Sith, and a moses in the bullrushes fashion 9. What could be most improved about Star Wars? some of the 70's/80's haircuts and costumes- The rebel troopers helmets are inproctical and look goofy! Ultimately, the general perception by outsiders of the Star Wars saga as an irrelevant money making vehicle, and not realising the depth and complexity of what I like to call the greatest story ever processed through ILM!
