Esteemed Scholar: Marc Vun Kannon Total Posts in Tremors 1 2. What do you think of the acting abilities of your favorite actor? Good enough to go from arrogant snot-nosed punk, through tender non-speaking scene, to "what am I doing? Why would she want me?" in a single movie and pull it off. 3. What was your favorite scene in the movie and why? The scene most often cut--Earl lecturing Val on his taste in women and how it needs improvement. 4. What was your least favorite part of the movie and why? No individual scene sticks out, but the gratuitous shots of gore I can do without. 5. What would you have liked to have seen more of in this movie? I think Tremors is just about a perfect classical Creature Feature--there isn't much than can be done to change it that won't damage it. 6. What would you like to see in a sequel? The sequels are already out; Tremors 2 is vastly inferior in the first half, much better in the second, and it sets the stage for Tremors 3, which is a wonderful movie, almost as good as the first. 7. What makes this movie stand out from others? As Creature Features go, many have characters that stand around screaming until they get eaten. This movies great difference is the resourcefulness, not only of the characters to save themselves, but also of the creatures. 8. Any thoughts on the directing or production values? My focus is on characters, not filmmakers craft. Only the occasional shots of gore come to mind as things to omit. 9. Best line in movie "Can you fly, sucker? Can you fly?!!"
