Esteemed Scholar: JADEFOXX Total Posts in Space 1999 9 1. What do you like about this show? Season 1 represents the most ambitious accomplishments in the history of visual SF. 2. Favorite character and why? Bergman - thoughtfully written and executed. 3. Least favorite character and why? Any new character introduced in Season 2. 4. Favorite episode and why? So many to choose from...but Matter Of Time And Space is excellent and thought provoking. Black Sun is the same. All of Season 1 is good (with the exception of the "Balor" episode). 5. Least favorite episode and why? All of Season 2. 6. Which character do you identify with the most and why? I don't really identify with any of them. Part of the appeal of Season 1 is how alien and existential it all is. 7. What was so special about this show? The introspective ambitions and mood were truly an accomplishment. I'm afraid this could only be done in Europe, can't see anything in the US reaching going for broke (once again - Season 1 only). 8. What one change would you have made to improve this show? Maintain the format utilized in Season 1. 9. What's one kind of episode they didn't do but should have? I have no answer here....perhaps one episode dedicated to "the average life aboard Moonbase Alpha without any life threatening forces attacking" but I guess it wouldn't be very exciting, eh?
