| 1. Favorite book and why? |
That's a tough one. Of the seven or so I've read, they've been pretty consistent. I guess I'd pick _Guards, Guards!_ as the funniest and _Small Gods_ as the most thought-provoking.

_Mort_ and _Hogfather_ seemed a little weaker than the rest.

I couldn't possibly name one. There are too many.

| 5. Which character do you identify most with and why? |
Boy, it's hard to identify with any of them! They're all pretty goofy. If you put a gun to my head, I might pick ... ummm ... one of the lesser wizards of Unseen University.

| 6. If you could see a sequel to one of the author's books, which would it
be and what would it be about? |
No concern here. Just about every book IS a sequel in an ever-growing series of Discworld novels. I've read only a third or so at this point, but if Pratchett doesn't tell us more about the boy from the sticks who joined the Ankh-Morpork city police in _Guards, Guards!_, I'm going to be very disappointed.

| 7. What do you like about author's writing style? |
Its craziness. The leaps of imagination and illogic, and the subtle wisdom hidden among all the foolishness. It reminds me a bit of Monty Python.

| 8. What are your favorite themes of this author? |
The crazy things people believe. What foolish hypocrites we so often are. How things tend to come out all right in the end despite our best efforts to undercut ourselves and cheat others.

| 9. What could be most improved about this authors books? |
Well ... he could take a little more time with each one, I suppose, and amplify his strengths instead of churning them out at high speed.
