1. Favorite book and why?
Jerlayne. There's so many different genre elements really well blended within a Fantasy title, and with a considerable amount of humour by way of the juxtaposition of viewpoints.

2. Least favorite book and why?
The only other title that I've read is The Brazen Gambit, which is good, too. I wouldn't say it was a least favourite, in a bad sense, but it's not as outstanding as Jerlayne.

3. Favorite scene in favorite book and why?
Where Jerlayne gets laughed at by her sister for picking Cuz as a suitable father, since Cuz's preferences lay elsewhere.

4. Favorite character and why?
There's too many good ones to make a choice like that.

5. Which character do you identify most with and why?
The characters have pretty strong identities, none of which, individually, I would strongly relate to. Each of them has qualities that I can relate to, but not one character's as a whole.

6. If you could see a sequel to one of the author's books, which would it be and what would it be about?
Jerlayne or The Brazen Gambit could be extended, taking each story onto a new set of circumstances.

7. What do you like about author's writing style?
She writes straightforwardly without being simplistic. Along the lines of Stephen King or the L.A. Graf crew.

8. What are your favorite themes of this author?
Irony. Politics. Spirituality.

9. What could be most improved about this authors books?
She could take care when using spiritual/magic elements not to let the narrative get vague in its descriptive sections of such. In addition, she should take care not to say something in a scene which then is clarified a page or two later. This tends to make the narrative drag because you need to re–read a section to try and understand what she means, but have to press on till you come to the contextual clarification. Jerlayne suffered from this particular trait.
