what is evey1 talkin about tihs is simple darth sidious need an apprentice because of the rule of two which is(quote from the great Darth Bane)"two there should be; no more less one to embody the power one to crave it" so to keep the sith in balance he looked for another apprentice and dooku already thought the jedi were corrupted so sidious thought easy score

how can it be,Luke Skywalker was obviously a meer distraction for the emperor. In chapter fourty-three Darth Sidious should have been in his escape pod intead of pointing fingers that spark lightning at Luke.Even at that,if he had left after killing the last jedi,he would have still been killed in the death star, leaving little time to get to the hangar from his location before the death star had been destroyed. Here are two better options that George should have made for the destruction of the death star, one: han solo and chewie should have had no weapons operational on the mellenium falcon and had to go on a suicide mission to destroy the death star, thus killing themselves to save the galaxy. Two:the emperor should have died half way through the film, and been thrown over by darth while the happless emperor was busy shooting lighting from his fingertips, thus starting a chain reaction of sparking the core which destroys the death star; giving Anikan and Luke enough time to escape the battle station and make it to endor which the former sith gets cremated into lukes urn which follows later in the expanded star wars universe.

Tyrenus began as a Jedi, actually the master/teacher of Qui Gon Jinn. Presumably he was turned by Sidious/Palpatine after the demise of Darth Maul.

I dunno, maybe because that was all he could find. .

Familiar with the phrase "Never too old to learn"? Dooku was already an establigshed Jedi from birth, so there wasnt much he needed to learn, just how to put the Dark Side spin on the powers. Palpatine wanted someone who didnt need much training.

Darth Spectureious, Your response was ridiculous. As you remember in Episode 2, Dukoo mentioned that Qui Gon was his apprentice. As we all know Qui Gon was rather radical. Well his master Dukoo was like this to the 10th power. He beleived that the senate was corrupt and the Jedi we're not active enough in bring order to the senate and thus left the Jedi council. Palpatine was aware of Dukoo's bad feeling toward the Jedi council and saught after him as an ally. Palpatine not only promised Dukoo political power, He also offered to train him to use the Darkside of the Force so he can be more Powerful then the Jedi. All Dukoo had to do was go along with his plot and accept Sidious as his Master. The rest is history. Anakin is the immaculate conception of the force. He is Jesus gone bad. Sidious is not his father. That's too stupid.

In epesode 3 when palpitine is talking about life in how to create it in the opera house that plagues was killed by his apprentice, also in epesode 1 shmi skywalker says quote{there was no father) and she had woke up pregnet, while gathering sidious power before epesode 1 he thought of making an invincible sith yet he was afraid of his power in being trained sith in full age until anikin was 10 so he left him with a his momther until dooku sent the tusken raiders to kill shmi skywalker,so he had darth maul, and darth tyranus to be his pawns to get anikin to the dark side without training, how darth maul affects in this is to also raveal to anikin when he sees darth maul on tatooine fighting qui-gon jinn is that the sith were the enemy and in epesode 1 which i was very dissapointed about was, that qui-gon was closer to anikin than obi-wan in epesode 1 so when qui-gon dies anikin is very sad and in fear that the jedi counsel will scold him every day which they do without qui-gon becouse qui-gon was the only way into the jedi order with anikin which helps anikin realize that palpitine flatters and mocks the jedi counsel every time he sees palpitine on couracaunt, which helps anikin side with palpitine in epsodes 1-3. so DARTH SIDIOUS is ANIKINS FATHER (PS:in epsode 1 obi-wan kenobi should have been closer to anikin than qui-gon jinn

Who says you have to be older?
And besides, with age comes wisdom.

Sidious was Plagious's Apprentice. he was taught everything and then he killed his master.

I don't get that. Isn't Palpatine Darth Sidious? I think you kind of interpreted that the wrong way...

Grievuse is not a Sith or a Dark Jedi. He was taught only the art of Lightsber battle. And as for the questions Dooku was just a stepping stone. Someone to help him with his war. After Maul fell Palpatine realized the unusuall stregth in Anakin. He decided that one day Anakin would be his Apprentice. Why? So that he may aid him in his quest to obtain eternal life. Something he believed the Chosen One wouldonly be able to achieve.

Age doesn't matter in being a Jedi. Well, it does, but the thing is he doesn't have to be an actual apprentice, does he?

it does not matter how old you are as long as you can learn some thing from them.

This is the authors subtle way of displaying that age and wisdom do not always go hand and hand. Plus who really knows the age of Palpatine or Tyrannus?

1.Watch EP1 again and you will see where the younglings come from.
2.General Grevious was defeated because , he was trained but not mastered like obiwan. Also he didnt have force powers, he just was taught some fighting skills. He was in the movie for several reasons, mainly to add another villian, but also to let obiwan have a chance to display his talents b4 fighting anikan. So it can be shown that he did have abilities strong enough to match anikan.
3.Tyrenus is a new apprentice, cuz he is new to the dark side of training.
4. Tyrenus was Sidious's apprentice, Sidious even said so when he said he would soon have a younger and stronger apprentice, after commenting on Tyrenus death.
5. Jedi are not impervious to heat, anikan caught fire, remember? It just made for a cool (no pun intended) fight scene, so they dropped reality like the rest of the entire movie btw :)

Has it occurred to you that General Grevious is completely and utterly pointless? Apart from fight occasionally he doesn't actually do anything. Also, he says "I've been trained in your Jedi arts by Count Dooku" but he's actually rubbish. He has 4 lightsabres and Obi-Wan defeats him with 1. If you take him out of the film, guess what? Nothing changes.

If the Jedi code forbids personal relationships which I'm assuming there isn't suppose to be any sexual encounters then where do the new Jedi and younglings come from?

hey! i dont think that darth tyrenus was the apprentice..i think he was the master...b/c in ep. III sidious was talking to anakin about the onlyone who could cheate life and that his apprentice killed him in the middle of the night and that proved that he couldnt escape from his own death...so i think sidious was tyrenus's apprentice
