Was Dr. Franklin a robot?
Dr. Franklin never showed any emotions on the show; he was kind of like an android. Do you think he was a real human, or perhaps an artificial intelligence constructed by Earthforce?
He was supposedly addicted to stims, but maybe what he needed was an oil change. The one time he had a relationship with a woman (the dancer/prostitute he picked up in the bar), he showed no emotion there either. I liked the original B5 doctor from the pilot better, the old black guy who was crotchity, like Doctor McCoy.

Dr. Frankling was kind of boring, i'll give him that, though it is a bad thing to be talking about a person who is no longer with us. Let's just assume for being politecally correct, that we are talking about the character only, nothing about the actor.
The original doctor from "The Gathering" was too ehtusiastic about his play in the movie, his words fired over-concern, though uninspiring. In particular his words in responce to question of what he saw inside kosh... it sounded and looked like his was just plain of-the-board. Dull.
