Last Episode: Unsatisfying ending?
"We're home!" End of story. Why not show at least a bit of the reunion with their families, what happens to the Maquis, etc? They could have cut part out of the very slow first hour to make room for that part.
Also, at the end, if I understand correctly, the Borg have assimilated the bat-armor technology. Even though the federation also has it, doesn't that change the future balance of power?
And even if they destroyed one hub, don't the Borg have five others? Since when did they need conduits, can't they travel at transwarp on their own?
It was a reasonably good story, but was too much like the finale for Next Gen (future Picard saving past Picard), and didn't have a compulsive zing. Best part: only 30 seconds of Neelix.

I was at a CarBoot sale (jumble sale) and I saw every episode from 1.1 to 7.13 for only £20, they were all in the original boxes and stored away in boxes. I asked them if they if they could come down, and they said "well, erm... £15" and I took them, the people selling them were about 60.

I haven't seen the final episode of Voyager. Anyone know how I can get it, without playing several hundred dollars for an entire season?
If what I've read is true, then yes, the Star Trek guru's tend not to put their best foot forward on season finale's. (DSN wasn't too bad however) I wonder how good the production/story might be in Universal?MGM took it over?

If you wnat to know what happened to Voyager and its crew then read Christie Goldens novel Homcoming, Farther shore, Spirit Walk and Enemy within. I know its alot of reading and all the novels are actually broken up into two but there good. I have read Farther shore and currently on Spirit walk. The first two involves the Borg, StarFleet intelligence and Klingion stuff. And Chako becomes captain of Voyager in Spirit Walk and Enemy with in.
I suggest and recommend all of them.

I've noticed that the Star Trek series has a nack for ending with disapointing eposide. It happened with TNG and VOY. (I think DS9) wasn't bad.
Why did the writers and producers loose such steam?
Secondly, what's up scoup on the next Star Trek series? And I heard there is another movie in the works?
