37 reasons why Xena and Gabrielle are lesbians
1) When Xena kills Calisto, they have a touching scene where Callisto caresses Xena's face. Callisto is dying, and all she can think about is touching Xena?
2) Who dresses Xena? She is often clad hard leather boots and slinky body harness.
3) Who dresses Gabrielle? The go-go boots combined with the low cut top that leaves little to the imagination and are obviously to Xena's liking.
4) Who cuts Gabrielle's hair? Sometime in the fourth season Xena cut off most of Gabrielle's hair with her chakram, giving Gabrielle a short, butch… lesbian look!
5) When Xena and Gabrielle go to bed at night, they often lie down together, hugging each other; Gabrielle's head can often be found in Xena's breast.
6) Early on Gabrielle joins the Amazons, fierce women warriors who have a hands-off policy when it comes to men. They all wear tight leather bras and have a strong tradition of female camaraderie.
7) On more than one occasion Xena and Gabrielle share a hot tub where they rub each others back and play with each other in the water.
8) In the cave of the bald guy who turns people into blue marble statues, Gabrielle, nude, lies down while Xena gives her a sensual backrub.
9) In "Altared States", the episode starts off with Xena and Gabrielle facing each other nude in a romantic lake, where Xena, bobbing up and down, looks into Gabrielle's eyes and says, "Come on, Gabrielle, I know you've been wanting to do this for a long time", and then Gabrielle promptly dunks her head under water.
10) In the episode where Xena dies and takes over Autylicous's body, there's a scene where Xena and Gabrielle kiss on the lips
11) In "Remember Nothing" Xena, living out a reality where she didn't team up with Gabrielle, is forced to take actions which will kill a man (her brother) to be with a woman (Gabrielle).
12) In "Girls just want to have fun" Gabrielle becomes a lesbian vampire who bites Xena on the neck.
13) Xena's horse is named Argo; Argo is a female horse; Xena rides a female. Horse.
14) In "Blind Faith" Gabrielle is spirited away to marry a king, but a jealous Xena intervenes.
15) In "Ulysses", Ulysses gets turned on by Xena, but she gives him a cold shoulder, perhaps because she has no place for two in her life.
16) In "The Lost Mariner", Xena tells Scallops the Mariner that to save himself he has to experience true love; the next thing you see is a tender scene between Xena and Gabrielle.
17) In "The Debt" Lao Ma gives Xena a mouth-to-mouth underwater kiss. Later, they dance together and look longingly in each others' eyes. Xena tells Gabrielle later that Lao Ma taught her about love.
18) In "Maternal Instincts" both Xena's son and Gabrielle's daughter have to die. Why? Because Xena isn't the "father" of Gabrielle's daughter, and Gabrielle isn't the "father" of Xena's son.
19) In "Eve" Xena remarks that Eve is "our" (Xena and Gabrielle's) child.
20) In "Forgiven" a teeny bopper gets between Gabrielle and Xena, and Gabrielle has several catfights with the teeny bopper to assert her dominance, and her right to sleep by Xena at night.
21) In "Crusader" Xena and Najara fight for the right to decide who will have Gabrielle as their companion. After Gabrielle starts to bond with Najara--romantic lakeside walks, riding horseback together--Xena gets jealous.
22) In "The Play's the thing" the actress who plays Xena walks off arm-in-arm with another woman and announces that she's a "thesbian".
23) In "Succession" Xena and Gabrielle are briefly merged into the same body!
24) In the episode where Xena dies briefly, Xena actually inhabits Gabrielle's body, and Gabrielle remarks later how "comforting" it was to have Xena inside her body.
25) In the episode where the furies make Xena go mad, strips off all her clothes and threatens some villagers, Gabrielle gently takes her by the hand and leads her away.
26) After teaming up with Gabrielle, Xena doesn't do it with a single guy--the only times we see her with guys are in FLASHBACKS, back when she was the "evil" Xena.
27) Xena gets pregnant, but the "father" is Callisto! We also see a scene where Callisto goes INSIDE Xena.
28) Xena tells Gabrielle, "You're the best thing that ever HAPPENED to me" (my emphasis). Doesn't this sound like Xena is describing a specific act or actionon Gabrielle's part? Do you think that one night in bed after they teamed up, that Gabrielle snuggled over to Xena and "happened" to her?
29) Xena competes in a beauty contest, but ends up kissing one of the other contestants!
30) When Gabrielle wants to get married to a guy, she asks Xena's permission first. Why would she need permission? Unless she were already married to Xena….
31) When Xena comes to Troy, she rescues another woman from the clutches of two men who want her.
32) When Athena fights Xena, she repeatedly expresses a reluctance to kill Xena, and often looks longingly into her eyes.
33) When Gabrielle is feeling bad about Solon's death, she goes to the Amazons who strip her nude, put her in a hot hut, and spank her naked tush with a feather.
34) When Xena confronts the Amazon Queen, Cyan, the first thing they do is strip each others' clothes off.
35) When Xena gets captured in "Tie me up, tie me down" the first thing the female warden does is have Xena stripped to her leather nightie.
36) When Callisto captures Gabrielle, the first thing she does he have Gabrielle suspended in the air to distract Xena. (Gabrielle is wearing a short skirt.)
37) When Xena was breastfeeding, Gabrielle tended to watch very closely.

ihr seit ja völlig banane! märckt ihr nicht was da abgeht? Gabrielle und xena sind nicht lesbisch! sie sind genau so lesbisch wie Ares schwuhl ist! Alles klar? Hört endlich auf damit! Zwischen den beiden ist nur freundschaft nicht mehr und nicht weniger! Ihr habt immer nur das eine im sinne! denkt mal zum abwechseln an was anderes! na und? was ist denn schon dabei? lesben sind auch menschen. ich finde es ganz und garnicht das xena und gabrielle lesbisch sind. der regisseur hat nur davon wind bekommen das die leute sie für lesben halten und hat sich ein kleiner spass erlaubt!Er hat euch reingelegt! You forgot the ep "Them Bones, Them Bones" when Alti reaches her hand inside Xena's belly and gets right up in her face, then says in a low, sultry voice, "I've always wanted to be inside of you, Xena". Also, when we're first introduced to Alti she has an apprentice, Anakin, who Xena becomes enamored with.

I'm gonna hate myself for asking this but: what's "THE SHOCKER"??? Also, I don't think they can make a Xena and Gabbie movie because they totally killed Xena in the last episode of the series. Not to get off topic here, but does anyone know if Xena is being broadcast on any channels here in the US? Cable or otherwise? Thanks!

Does anyone think Xena ever gave Gabrielle THE SHOCKER ? Also does Xena ever get oral from Gabrielle or does Gabrielle not like sticking her toungue into Xena's stinky snatch? Back then they didnt have dousche's. From the photo Xena is clearly enjoying her meal of Tuna.

listen i luv xena and gabrielle and also the fans aswell. They need to start making the movie The Return of Xena. Because Xena and Gabrielle need to get back together they need each other they stick together.

He asks about their relationship at the end. Unfortunetly his camera batteries died just as she was about hot answer. (Damn)

Lucy is and will always be the only Xena.she has the grace and the spirit that a warrior at that time would have.she is the one and only Xena as Renee is the only Gabby.

I think Xena LOVED Gabrielle and Gabrielle LOVED Xena BEYOND sex, beyond rules, it is LOVE, not ONLY having sex. You get? They are too far away more than only friends, that's why it's said they are SOUL-MATES. They love each other, and this love were and is far beyond anything that every one of us can imagine. They're cool!
