How much of a TOS ripoff is this new series?
The new series takes place BEFORE but roughly in a similar time period as the original star trek series, on a ship named Enterprise, with a brash captain, a Vulcan first officer, and a hard-edged crew.
What does this tell you? It seems with the ever declining ratings of each succeeding series, the owners of the show are going to go back to "what worked", trying to copy it slavishly as much as possible. Haven't they got the guts to try and create something reasonably original?

it is a shame that Enterprise wasnt given a second chance on sci-fi.upn wasnt the right station for it as it didnt have a chance along with the format that it carries.it needs a sci-fi base one i think it was finally coming alive on its own right.now we will never know.

I belive that scotty dialogue is from "who mourns for adonis" during the scene where apollo's giant hand almost crushes the enterprise..Thus!!

Hey you guys, in Australia we watch Trek, in India they watch Trek (i think)Trek, Trek, Trek. Ratings who cares, are we TV executives, no we are Trek, I say again Trek, Trek, Trek.We never watch Trek first off because ads and Tv is rubbish, so we wait for the whole thing on video. The international Video/DVD market will surely warrant more. There is a whole world beyond America, you wouldnt believe it.
