I have just read A touch of Dead & while i am not in agreement that it was a waste of money, i was disappointed as i was so looking forward to reading more about Sookie and her ever changing life. I live in Scotland & Sookie fever has hit us big time. I hope to hear that you will share a new sookie book with us soon & thank you for keeping me enthralled with every turned page.

I was extremely dissapointed with the last book I read in the Sookie Stackhouse series, A Touch of Dead. It was a complete waste of money and time. It was a repeat of a previous story line and was not captivating like the other books.

Thank you.Thank you for giving us the charactor of Sookie.

I just finished True Blood and I liked it but it's obviously that reading your books it's more pleasant than watching the series:P unfortunately,in Romania you can find only the first 4 books now translated and even I could read the next ones in english I prefere to read them in my language so I can "live" them:) when I saw that you were talking about the 8'th book I was...:|geez...I have a lot to read and a lot more to wait:)) Anyway, here your books are searched and I talk about them everywere:)and we are waiting to be able to read the next books:D

I too love the sookie books and the series. In fact that is the only reason I subscribed to hbo. I do not watch a lot of tv but when I read about True Blood I told my husband I have to have HBO!! LOL. As always I am enjoying all your books and I am glad the series is a hit.

Ms. Harris, I am on my second read of your Southern Vampires series and I absolutely love all of your colorful characters and the plot development in each book. I did not think it was possible, but the stories are even better the second time around. Little details that escaped me in the first read pop the second time around. Have to share that Dead To The World was one of my favorites. Love Eric and Sookie in this book and the play in the following books on Eric’s missing memory of what he did with Sookie. Loved the reveal in From Dead To Worse and hope that Eric and Sookie get back together in Book 9. There is something about his character that I find really genuine. Of course, whatever happens, you have a fan for life. THANKS!

Ms. Harris, I LOVE your books. I recieved the "Sookie Stackhouse" boxed set (books 1-7) for Christmas. So far I have been reading one a day and usually starting a second one. What was your inspiration for this series? Vamps, shifters,&wares are an unusual(and highly entertaining) subject matter. I also love the HBO series. You did an awesome job making sure they stayed as true to the books much as possible. Keep up the great work. I look very forward to your future books.

I love your Sookie Stackhouse series, and the new show, True Blood, is great! You're a great writer; I'm so torn between wanting Sookie to end up with Bill or Eric. It's too hard to choose..lol. I know you probably get this question all the time, but do you have any final ideas chosen on what you plan to do with Sookie in the future books? Like who she'll ultimately end up with, if she'll get to have a child of her own, etc. Or are you at the same point as your readers~only knowing what's planned as far as the book you're writing. I just love your Sookie series and can't wait for the next one to come out. May seems so long away! Just wondering if you're already working on the new Sookie book that'll come out after Dead and Gone? Any hints or stuff you can throw out to us without ruining the plot? Thanks so much and can't wait for the next ones!

Ms. Harris I just wanted to let you know I cannot put down your books! And I was curious if you knew if you started writting your books before Stephanie Myers started writting her twilight books? But I think your books are FAR better than hers, though she is talented! Thank you for your time. I hope you all the blessing in the world!

Well, I just loved the last sookie book. Having a nephew who is also telepathic is so kool and sookie can save him years of pain by training him. Nice surprise Ms. Harris!!!

That's so sad. I've tried to think only of the living, but I do think about those beautiful cemeteries.

Hello Ms. Harris, I was reading in today's newspaper about the desecration of grave yards in La by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. Immediately I thought of you. Not that I think it's your fault. No, no, no. :-) I was thinking about all the work that awaits Harper Connelly!! You go girl. Love your books. NY Reader

Jacquelyn, thanks so much. I'm very lucky to have such a great job. I hope you continue to enjoy the books and maybe you'll enjoy the television series as well.

Mrs. Charlaine Harris, I love all your books. My favorite of all is the Sookie Stackhouse Series and I cannot wait until we get to know what happens between Eric and Sookie. I adore the character you have created in Eric and I love Pam. Your talent is remarkable, you are a true artist. I read everybody and you are at the top of my list. Keep up the excellent work.

I don't have a Harper scheduled for next year. I just ran out of time. Maybe early 2009. I'm glad you enjoyed AN ICE COLD GRAVE. Charlaine Harris

I am sorry it took so long to get back to you. Yes, I did read it and thought it was great. Any date when the next book is coming out? I find her one of the fascinating characters I have ever read. I check Amazon to make sure I don't miss any.
