We all know that Gene Roddenbery's wife is behind the Andromeda series. Gene created the Star Trek series, which had the Borg, and now Andromeda has introduced a race of hostile robots called "The Consensus" which consists of "parts that all act together" as one. Hello? Doesn't this remind you of the Borg with slightly different makeup? Why can't Andromeda come up with an ORIGINAL idea? And actually, the consensus makeup looks lame--one of them wears flashing wires, and their leader looks like the tin man from "The Wizard of Oz". What do you think? This stands to argue that since both orignal scripts for Andromeda and Star Trek were written by the same man that there are stronf paralles, just as Poe used the same metaphores repetedly in his poetry.
