Is not Harper the most annoying character?
I started out thinking that Trance would be the most annoying character, but I realize now it's Harper--even his voice is grating. Is is possible that anyone could like him? Don't you think that Dylan needs to slap him around a bit for his own good?
If he irritates the crew too much, do you think Tear will use him for target practice?

I've never understood how people could not like Harper just a little. He's got a good back story and life on Earth in Andromeda isn't exactly a cakewalk. If you want to see the more serious/tortured side of Harper check out the eps "Fear and Loathing in the Milky Way" (Season one, if I remember right), "Abridging the Devil's Devide" (season four), and "Harper2.0" (season one or two). As for Tyr using him for target practice...the longer you watch the show the more you realize they kinda' have an odd sort of brotherly/father-son relationship and that Tyr really does look up to Harper...though obviously not physically ;).

By the stars and my garters can't anyone be open to new things. Reminds me of a time when a aquaintance started giving me "chapter and verse" on the royal wedding of Princess Di, I listed politely for 2 hours but in the end I had to remind her, you ain't planning the wedding. Writers create the show as they see fit. And I personally think they do a wonderful job because I would have to ask you how many stories have you written?
