But yes, there was a dinosaur head or something darn close. And there were the heads of men and the dogs it copied in the past sticking out of it. Watch it again. I just watched the old laserdisc version again. There is a commentary that identifies Blairs face in part of the dinosaurs jaw. Since I cant post links search on--- "Blair Monster" dinosaur jaws "Was Blair The Creature That Came Through The Floor At The End? However, after seeing the storyboard by Mike Ploog, I now have evidence that the final creature is the transformed Blair. It became known as the "Blair Monster", and you can see the storyboard designs for it in the "Missing Scenes" section. If you look very closely at the head of the monster that bursts out of the ground, you can just make out Blair's face integrated to the left of the dinosaur jaws."        Rudy Soto posts on 11/30/2005 11:43:55 AM The thing remake was a very good remake that was thought about before it was made.I think it foretold the coming of the aids virus and the harm it caused to the world.        The commentator big d posts on 11/11/2005 8:35:05 AM i agree with 'not important' the thing is a massivly awesome film but the creature does not sprout f---ing penguin heads or man or dinosaur heads!        The commentator not important posts on 11/10/2005 12:45:00 PM The alien at the end doesn't sprout heads of everything its ever copied, there is no dinosaur heads or wolf heads (it may look like a wolf but isn't) there are no man heads and no F'in penguin heads, and not everything its ever copied, next time you do a review get the propper info, or talk to the people who made it which I have.        Soylent Yellow posts on 10/28/2005 10:59:17 PM The Thing 1982 is one of those rare cases where the remake blew away the original! The scene where the one guy is using defibrilator paddles to try and restart a guys heart at which point the chest collapses his hands plunge in and the chest walls become teeth that chops off the guys hands! Awesome! I mean you got a freaking mans head falling off his alien copied body then sprouting legs and scampering away before a guy hits it with a flame thrower - roast head anyone? At the end where the alien gets freaking huge! With heads of everything it has ever copied come sprouting out - dogs, men, wolves, even dinosaurs! I even thought I saw a penguin in there somewhere.
