(click here) TV-Commentary - Battlestar Galactica Why did they kill off Starbuck? In the new Battlestar Galactica series they killed off the character of Starbuck, seemingly for no reason. She started off as a butch lesbian type and then became whiny and insecure and started sleeping with a bunch of guys. Do you think they would have kept her on if she had stayed a lesbian? The insecure males automatically stereotyped her because of their fear and insecurities. I think Starbuck is hot and I personally relish the idea of a woman who could be my physical equal. Making for even chances of her being able to kick my butt in a fair wrestling match. Real men desire real women. Men who tout their manliness by catergorizing women who don't fit their "ideal" woman. (usually a vacant vapid trophy bimbo) really are insecure and weak. In other words, liberal democrats. By the way, do you all really buy into Al Gore's "A convenient lie"?
