(click here) TV-Commentary - Doctor Who Best episodes: The Androids of Tara This is possibly the very best "Key to Time" episode. The White Guardian sent the Doctor on a task to recover all the parts to the Key to Time so he can restore order and balance to the universe. But the keys are widely scattered and are hidden. So the Doctor starts hunting for the pieces, accompanied by Romana I. When they get to Tara, Romana gets captured by an evil prince who realizes that Romana looks exactly like their resident princess. He attempts to use Romana to get the throne. Meanwhile the Doctor is captured by royalists and persuaded to create a robot who looks exactly like the good prince. But the evil prince destroys the robot and captures the good prince, and sends a robotic version of Romana with a laser in her boobs to kill the Doctor. The Doctor gets K9 to zap the robot Romana and storms the castle where she and the good prince is being held. They recover the fragment of the key and then go and fish out K9, who is floating away in a boat in the moat.
