What should a DS9 Movie look like?
Although a DS9 movie seems unlikely at present, due in part to the anti-charisma of Avery Brooks, "there are always possibilities", as Spock once said. Having said that, here are some possible plotlines:
1) Odo, merging with the Founders, gives them a bad case of indigestion which requires a housecall from Dr. Bashir
2) Dr. Bashir breaks up with Dax after her worm dies and shrivels up inside, creating an awful stench around her.
3) Sisco reappears in a pillar of light to play baseball on the holodeck and to give Jake some lessons in cooking Jumbalaya.
4) Kira goes to the alternate universe and captures, romances, and marries her duplicate.
5) Chief O'Brien turns Keiko over to the Borg for some attitude adjustment.
6) Garak becomes ruler of Cardassia and in his first official act requires everyone to buy their clothing from him.
7) Grand Negus Rom is so hen pecked by Leta that he's overthrown in a popular revolt and sent to exile on Vulcan
8) After two years in Starfleet Nog gets promoted to Admiral and makes all officers under his command pay tribute and wear large ears.
9) Jake falls in love with a girl who turns out to be a monster who eats sensitive poets.
10) Worf teaches anger management classes on Klingon.

Don't know, Al. Sorry.
I think Star Trek has been going toward dark & scary since Redemption part I in 1991. I think that's why the franchise finally foundered.
Star Trek isn't about pitting the races against each other. A contest to see who has the biggest gun, the fastest ship, the stronger shields.
If DS9 went back, to the best of Trek, I'd gladly watch. But it never showed us how we can grow as a species, how we can relate better with others. Instead, the entire series could be featured in Soap Opera Digest, and no one would know it was Sci-Fi.

Hi folks!
Many years ago, I watched an old SciFi movie on TV. It was made around 50's or 60's.
On it, appeared invaders from "some" planet. They anesthetized humans, squirting them some sort of ether or alcohol with their sharp claws. It was a black & white film, but I suppose the creatures were green or blue. Their faces were dark tone.
Does someone knows that film's name?

I think they need to give trek a rest, but when they bring it back in movie form bring DS9 with it. Make it darker/scarier, pg-13 or R, I'm good either way. So long as they don't bring Sisco back in the first five minutes and actually build a story around it I'd be there in a heartbeat

I think that a DS9 movie should be made- but that's just my personal opinion, of course.
