(click here) TV-Commentary - Buck Rogers Best episode--The Plot to Kill a City By far the best episode of Buck Rogers was the episode where he infiltrated and fought the legion of death. 1) Kellogg--the master strategist (also played the Riddler from batman). 2) Varick--the mush face mask man who could phase out and walk through walls. 3) Sharice--a tough Counselor Troi, she could sense people's emotions, and perform surveilance of the surrounding areas. 4) Quince--a telekenetic, he could pin people against walls or smash down doors. And all of them plotted to blow up an atomic power plant, and Buck had to stop them. Great episode! If they were all like this one, the show would never have been canceled. I miss it everytime the Skiffy folks put it on. "The Return of the Fightin' 69" was pretty good as well. Man! Erin Gray looked pretty sexy in that tight, shiny purple spandex outfit on in that episode! So it's possible, IMHO, that the Legion did survive. Maybe they ejected or their ships weren't completely destroyed. Remember, special effects in the late '70s-early '80s weren't as good as they are now.
