For "Any old man" to be applicable Padme would have to 1. have had sex with more than one person throughout the trilogy. 2. They would have to be senior citizens. She only did it with one young guy, Anakin. People who are in love DO have sex. You were aware of that, right? Please try again when you can refrain from the childishness and contribute something worthwhile to the discussion.

Ok, what's the best way to keep Vader knowing he had kids? Think of it. Senator dies. There's going to be media coverage. Vader sees on the holonet that there she is, dead. And she looks pregnant. As if maybe she died before child birth? What better way to make him think his kids are dead? It was in the Jedi's best interest that she keep up the charade that she died without giving birth.

I mean think about it she was alive afterwards to give birth to the babies, right?! The Emperor said that he knew how to keep people from dying, what if the way to do that is to drain the life out of someone else? What if in order to save Anakin/Darth Vader, the Emperor had to drain the life from Amidala? The doctor's did say that they couldn't explain why she was dying, that maybe she had just lost the will to live. Then the Emperor told Darth Vader that he had killed Amidala in order to make him that much more evil. Just my thoughts.

he never ordered them to stuff padme at her funeral that's not like yoda and it would be disrespectful and that;s the reason they hid the kids. even the mentally retarded emperor would know that they wouldn't just leave the babies in padme's stomach. if need be, they would have had a emergency c-section. duh! in eposod 6 close to the end of the show. princess laya told luke that she new her real mother padme when she was real young,,,,, did she live after all??
